DayBreak was founded by Phillip Fisher, whose love for the outdoors began on his family’s farm in Eastern Oklahoma. A lifelong learner and competitive golfer, Phillip combined his passion for the land with his drive for excellence, graduating with honors in Horticulture and Turfgrass Science from Oklahoma State University.
After college, Phillip was recruited by a national lawn and tree care company, where he started as a Turf Route Manager and worked his way up to Chief Operating Officer of one of the nation’s top 50 green industry firms. Along the way, he learned that lasting success isn’t just about growing lawns — it’s about growing people. His leadership philosophy is built on hard work, teamwork, and a people-first mindset.
With the support of his wife and two grown children, Phillip launched DayBreak Lawn Care to bring those values to life. His mission is simple: to deliver the best lawn care experience possible by putting people first — customers and team alike.
Under Phillip’s leadership, DayBreak combines proven agronomic expertise with genuine care, helping homeowners enjoy beautiful, healthy lawns and the peace of mind that comes with dependable service.
DayBreak’s presence in Tulsa is led by Paul Doss, a lifelong Oklahoman with a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the role a great lawn plays in everyday life. For Paul, lawn care isn’t just about how a yard looks — it’s about creating a place where families gather, neighbors connect, and memories are made.
Paul earned his degree in Turfgrass Management from Oklahoma State University, building a strong technical foundation in lawn health and agronomics. He later completed a Business Management degree from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, graduating summa cum laude, which allows him to pair hands-on expertise with thoughtful, people-first leadership.
As Tulsa Lawn Director, Paul is passionate about developing his team and doing things the right way. He believes the best results come from empowering people, honoring commitments, and caring for each lawn as if it were his own. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, watching baseball, fishing, and traveling together as a family.
Dr. Bryan Christian leads DayBreak’s Jacksonville operation, bringing a unique combination of leadership, education, military service, and industry experience to homeowners throughout Northeast Florida.
A Jacksonville native, Bryan earned his undergraduate degree from Edward Waters University before earning his doctorate from Oklahoma State University. His commitment to personal and professional growth reflects the same dedication he brings to serving customers and supporting his team every day.
Bryan proudly served in the Army National Guard, where he developed the leadership, discipline, and service-first mindset that continue to guide his approach to business and customer care.
With years of experience helping homeowners care for their lawns, landscapes, and homes, Bryan understands the unique challenges Northeast Florida properties face. From maintaining healthy lawns to managing pests, mosquitoes, and termites in a year-round climate, he is committed to helping homeowners protect and enjoy their outdoor spaces.
When he’s not working, Bryan enjoys working out and spending time with his wife and two sons. Family, community, and service are at the heart of everything he does.
His goal is simple: to provide dependable service, honest communication, and trusted solutions that give homeowners confidence and peace of mind.
